
BD Diesel 07-10 LMM Chevy Allison Transmission & Converter Package (2WD)
Transmission
This upgraded transmission is engineered to significantly increase the durability and reliability of your drivetrain. It features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan, which increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts to improve cooling and fluid stability under load.
Internal upgrades include high-energy clutch material, revised oil circuits, and a new torque converter lock-up valve designed to increase lock-up pressure. Updated A and B trim valves deliver full line pressure to the clutches, improving holding power and consistency. Clutch capacity is substantially increased across the transmission with the following configurations: C1 ā 8 clutches (14% increase over stock), C2 ā 7 clutches (17% increase), C3 ā 6 clutches (50% increase), C4 ā 7 clutches (17% increase), and C5 ā 7 clutches (17% increase).
Every transmission is dyno tested to verify proper operation and performance before delivery.
Torque Converter
The torque converter features an enhanced stall speed optimized for street and towing applications. Torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators provide improved low-RPM response compared to the stock converter, resulting in more efficient operation, reduced heat, and improved fuel economy.
A stamp-forged steel front cover increases strength and durability, while furnace-brazed fins reduce internal leakage and improve fluid coupling efficiency. The converter includes up to three times the amount of lock-up clutch material compared to stock for increased holding power and long-term reliability.
Warranty
This transmission and torque converter package is backed by a 36-month or 150,000-mile parts warranty, along with 12 months or 24,000 miles of labor coverage.
