Transmission

This upgraded transmission is engineered to significantly increase the durability and reliability of your drivetrain. It features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, improving cooling, fluid stability, and overall case strength.

Internal upgrades include high-energy clutch material, revised oil circuits, and a new torque converter lock-up valve to boost lock-up pressure. Updated A and B trim valves deliver full line pressure to the clutches for improved holding power and consistent engagement. Clutch capacity is increased throughout the transmission with the following configurations: C1 โ€“ 8 clutches (14% increase over stock), C2 โ€“ 7 clutches (17% increase), C3 โ€“ 6 clutches (50% increase), C4 โ€“ 6 clutches (no increase over stock), and C5 โ€“ 7 clutches (17% increase). Each transmission is dyno tested to ensure proper operation and performance.

Torque Converter

The torque converter features an enhanced stall speed optimized for street and towing applications. Torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators provide improved low-RPM response compared to the stock converter, resulting in more efficient operation, reduced heat, and improved fuel economy.

A stamp-forged steel front cover increases strength and durability, while furnace-brazed fins reduce internal leakage for improved fluid coupling efficiency. The converter includes up to three times the amount of lock-up clutch material compared to stock for increased holding power and long-term reliability.

Warranty

This transmission and torque converter package is backed by a 36-month or 150,000-mile parts warranty, with 12 months or 24,000 miles of labor coverage.
